The 3rd of February , 2017 on the basis of SSH№1M. Gorky held scientific-practical conference of students' characters in the history of native city. "The purpose of the conference: the demonstration and promotion of scientific research achievements of students, to attract public attention to the formation and development of intellectual potential, education of children citizenship and patriotism, respect for the immortal feat of the military.The Conference is dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the city. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded five of our countrymen whose lives were linked to the Balkhash.Pupils city prepared research papers about the Heroes of the Soviet Union: N.G Podsadnik, O.N.Shcherbakov, P. K. Miller, V.Z Khoruzhaya, Z.L Asfandiyarov. Their feat will forever remain in the chronicles of the war in our grateful memory. The conference sets out the basic essence of the submitted work, arguing its relevance, isolated independent judgments and conclusions.
