May 31-Memorial Day for Victims of Political Repression and Famine

By Presidential decree, May 31, 1997 was declared the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression and Famine. In this regard, the class hour in our school was held in grades 1-6. During the class hour, students were provided with complete information. Among these victims were such famous peppers of the Kazakh people as Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Ahmet Baitursynov, Magzhan Zhumabayev, Saken Seifullin, Beimbet Maylin, Mirzhakyp Dulatov, Turar Ryskulov, representatives of the intelligentsia and aryks of Alash.
