Manufacturers of Kostanay, Pavlodar and Karaganda regions will partici-pate in the construction of EXPO-2017

On December 28, 2015, the working meeting of Chairman of the Board of “National Company “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC Akhmetzhan Yessimov was held with akims of Kostanay, Pavlodar and Karaganda regions.

As part of the meeting memorandums with Kostanay, Pavlodar and Kara-ganda regions were signed, as well as contracts and memorandums with manu-facturers of these three regions.

Memorandums “On engagement of domestic manufacturers in the construc-tion of facilities of International Specialized Exhibition Astana EXPO-2017” were signed between regional akimats and JSC “NC “Astana EXPO-2017”. The docu-ment is intended to be real support for local entrepreneurs.

“Today we will sign Memorandums on cooperation with regions. Thus, we have fulfilled the instruction of the head of state on involvement of domestic en-terprises to the construction of EXPO facilities. We can say that as a result of this, new work positions been created in every region of Kazakhstan. In total, 232 contracts have been signed as part of memorandums, at that deliveries in the amount of more than 32 billion tenge have been made. Also domestic business subjects have performed works and have rendered services in the amount of more than 15 billion tenge”- said the Head of the national company “Astana EX-PO-2017”.

At the same time, regional akims noted the importance of bilateral coopera-tion.

In whole, memorandums on cooperation have been signed with akimats of Karaganda, North Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, South Ka-zakhstan, Kyzylorda, Akmola, Almaty, Atyrau, Mangystau, Aktobe, West Kazakh-stan regions, and Astana and Almaty cities.

General contracting organizations have engaged 232 domestic manufac-turers to the construction of EXPO-2017 facilities and contracts in the amount of 31.754 billion tenge have been signed: in Astana city (179 companies) in the amount of 20.468 billion tenge; in North Kazakhstan region (1 company) in the amount of 1.067 billion tenge; in Karaganda region (18 companies) in the amount of 8.122 billion tenge; in Pavlodar region (3 companies) in the amount of 0.678 billion tenge; in South Kazakhstan region (2 companies) in the amount of 0.016 billion tenge; in East Kazakhstan region (1 company) in the amount of 0.050 bil-lion tenge; in Akmola region (19 companies) in the amount of 0.599 billion tenge; in Almaty (7 companies) in the amount of 0.625 billion tenge; in Almaty region (2 companies) in the amount of 0.129 billion tenge.

As of today, works on installation of monolithic reinforced concrete prepara-tory works (parkings) have been completed for all pavilions of the exhibition complex on construction sites of EXPO to the extent of 100%. Installation of met-al structures of building frames has been done to the extent of 81%. Construction and installation works have been completed in the Office of the organizer.

Preparatory works have been completed at the “Center of energy research”. Installation of metal structures of building frames and foundations is in progress,

made of profiled sheeting of the roof and facade. Laying of engineering networks is in progress throughout the territory of EXPO.

In whole, 7421 people and 444 units of equipment are involved in the con-struction. In whole, the construction went down in value by 78 billion tenge after revision of projects.

General contractors of EXPO have confirmed future business partnership with potential suppliers in Memorandums on cooperation and specific contracts.

Contracts were signed during the meeting between General contracting organiza-tions of the Company and domestic regional manufacturers: “Mabco construtions s.a.” AFF with “Factory Metal Profile” LLP in Karaganda region; “Evraz Caspian Steel” LLP in Kostanay region; “Kazcentrelectprovod” LLP in Karaganda region; “BIGroup Corporation” LLP with “Casting” LLP in Pavlodar region; “KKK “Concrete” LLP in Ka-raganda region; “SAES SREDAZENERGOSTROY” LLP with “KMK Trade Company” LLP in Karaganda region; “ABK Kurylys-1” LLP with “Kazenergokabel” JSC in Pavlo-dar region;

Also memorandums were signed between “SK” Basis” LLP and “Santechprom” LLP in Karaganda region (memorandum), “Kazenergokabel” JSC in Pavlodar region; “Mega Plaza” LLP and “Mutlu Gypsum” LLP in Karaganda region; “Turkuaz YDA Sto-ry” LLP and “Bautas” LLP in Karaganda region (memorandum); “Sembol Inshaat..” JSC and “Factory Metal Profile” LLP in Karaganda region (memorandum).

“Cosmonaut” hotel in Karaganda region was awarded “Recommended by EXPO-2017” quality mark and memorandums on cooperation between tour operators and ho-tels were signed.
