JSC “NAC “Kazatomprom” and JSC “Samruk-Energy” became Partners of EXPO-2017

23.12.2015 JSC “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” concluded a memorandum on cooperation with JSC “NAC “Kazatomprom” and JSC “Samruk-Energy”

The Chairman of the Board of NC “Astana EXPO-2017” Akhmetzhan Yessimov, the Chairman of the Board of NAC “Kazatomprom” Askar Zhumagaliyev and the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Samruk-Energy” Almasadam Satkaliyev have signed the documents during official ceremony.

The memorandum on cooperation has been concluded with JSC “Samruk-Energy” with awarding of status “Official Supplier of renewable energy”. The memorandum of cooperation has been concluded with NAC “Kazatomprom” with awarding of status “Partner of the exhibition EXPO-2017”.

“As you know, we are working together with major national holdings of the country and transnational companies. Among our partners are “Air Astana”, “Cisco”, “Kazkommertsbank” and other companies. The Memorandums signed today will be the next step to our cooperation. With the help of our new partners, we are planning to establish cooperation and attract major companies to participate in the exhibition”, - mentioned in his speech A. Yessimov, the Head of National Company “Astana EXPO-2017”.

“Samruk-Energy” is the largest electric power holding. It is a leader in the development of renewable energy sources. Let me note that electric power will be supplied to the objects of Exhibition by wind power plant Ereymentau 45 MW, officially launched by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, N.A. Nazarbayev, during national teleconference on the results of implementation of the State program for industrialization and “Nurly Zhol”, - said Almasadam Satkaliyev in his speech.

Within the framework of signed memorandum JSC “NAC “Kazatomprom” will provide services for attraction of international partners, the largest companies of nuclear industry, to participate in the Exhibition, and will also participate in creation of atomic cluster at the territory of Exhibition complex.

The Parties discussed possibilities of cooperation in the framework of EXPO.
