South Kazakhstan and “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC signed the memorandum on cooperation in the amount of more than 10 billion tenge

18.12.2015 “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC signed the Memorandums on cooperation with akimat of South Kazakhstan region. The signing ceremony was held today with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Board of “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC Yerbol Shormanov and regional deputy akim in Shymkent city.

During the event specialized exhibition of producers of South Kazakhstan and Zhambyl regions was organized, where more than 50 domestic companies presented their products. Among them are: transformers, ceramics, finishing and construction materials, textiles, furniture, electrical equipment and others. Travel companies presented their five-day and three-day packages of routes covering all places of interest of the region.

In turn, young innovators demonstrated the potential of SKR by their inventions in the field of “green technologies”.

At the same time, the meeting with volunteers of the region was held. Yerbol Shormanov during his speech marked the importance of participation of youth at EXPO-2017 as volunteers.

“Together with tickets to EXPO-2017 Exhibition, we have specially prepared tourist packages to make it possible for visitors from other countries to visit our regions and places of interest. We therefore call on regional tour operators to take an active part in the work with tourists”, - said Deputy Chairman of the Board of “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC.

In whole, 5 memorandums and 7 agreements on cooperation were signed between companies and general contractors of EXPO in the total amount of more than 10 billion tenge.

As of today, the company has signed memorandums with 13 regions and akimats of Astana and Almaty. Contracts with 232 domestic producers have been signed in the amount of 32 billion tenge.
