Kazakhstan is attracting international participants for EXPO-2017

Together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, invitations have been prepared and sent to 149 countries and 38 international organizations.

According to the results of events official confirmation of participation have been received from 54 countries and 11 international organizations.

29 section commissioners have been appointed (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Vanuatu, Gabon, Honduras, Grenada, Cuba, Marshall Islands, France, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Liberia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Madagascar, Tuvalu, Bolivia, Belarus, Nauru, Germany, Switzerland, UAE, United Kingdom, Fiji, Mongolia, Russia, Iran, India and international organization ESCAP). Negotiations are continuing to accelerate the appointment of section commissioners from the list of confirmed countries.

At present, 12 agreements of participation have been signed (Liberia, Madagascar, Kyrgyzstan, Nauru, Marshall Islands, Gabon, Senegal, UAE, Sierra Leone, United Kingdom, France and Iran). Agreements of participation have also been sent to all appointed commissioners. Besides, agreements with Commissioners of Switzerland, Cuba and Vanuatu are prepared for signing.
