"City, friendly to the child"

   In Kazakhstan, the "Child Friendly City" international initiative is being implemented by the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the akimats of cities and regions with the support of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UN Children's Fund . Under the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education and Science, an interdepartmental working group was established to implement the initiative with the participation of representatives of several ministries, NGOs and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
