On October 6, 2021, a qualifying debate tournament among high school students was held at "School No. 10".
The purpose of the tournament: development of skills in mastering the strategy of critical thinking when making independent decisions and achieving the truth in the course of analyzing topical problems in the history of independent Kazakhstan.
Teams from the 10th grade took part in the tournament. By drawing lots, the participants took the sides of the "Government" or the "Opposition" and tried to defend the fairness of their judgments. The discussion of all the proposed questions was sharp and interesting.
The panel of judges at the tournament was headed by a history teacher, head of the debate club Sarsembekov B.T. and Deputy Director Kirichenko L.V.
Participants actively argued their point of view, presented arguments and arguments, asked questions, and suggested ways to solve problems. All participants of the tournament received practical experience and a lot of positive impressions. The winners of the tournament were the "New Generation" team consisting of speakers of 10 "a" grade pupils Danil Boyko and Ekaterina Kolyasnikova, who will defend the honor of the school at the city debate tournament.
