Results of the raid on the verification of textbooks

Results of the raid on the verification of textbooks
In order to promote a careful attitude to the book and preserve the educational fund, the staff of the library from October 16 to October 20, 2017 conducted a raid "Let's Look in the Briefcase", during which the students were checked on the "Rules for the Use of School Textbooks". At the time of testing, each student must have all the necessary textbooks for the day of check, and the textbooks themselves should be in good condition: be wrapped and repaired (if they so require). The test was conducted in all classes from 1 to 11.
The check was carried out by the school librarian Yakushenko Т.V. For the new school year 2017-2018 the school received 3 parallel textbooks for the updated program of non-standard size. Reid showed that some students do not have covers on new textbooks, a small part of the textbooks (3 and 4 year of use) requires minor repairs (gluing, replacing the cover, erasing the markings). It is encouraging that there are not many of them. With such students was held a conversation "On the careful attitude to the school textbook."

Basically, the students together with their parents tried and took care of the textbooks. The results of the raid are designed and presented at the information stand.
The raid is conducted in order to instill in children the rules of careful handling of educational literature. We remind you that all textbooks are used in the educational process for at least 5 years, so you need to keep them in a decent state!
During the raid, the librarian once again reminded the students about the basic rules for using textbooks from the school library's fund, about the responsibility for damage and the loss of textbooks. With information on the results of the raids, class leaders were introduced, and they were also asked to bring the information to parents at parents' meetings. Class teachers are advised to regularly work with students on the rules of using textbooks from the school library fund, on the safety of the training fund (it is necessary to discuss the results of the raids on class hours, students to eliminate all comments: all textbooks were wrapped and repaired, in each class to select those responsible for the training fund and conduct regularly inside the class raids on the availability and safety of textbooks).
Take care of the book - the source of knowledge!

We are used to the book, rarely think of it as a wonderful treasure, and it happens that we do not always appreciate and protect it.
A textbook is also a book, only an educational book. And how is it?
In order to promote a careful attitude to the book and the safety of the educational fund, the library staff conducted a raid "Save the school textbook" from 5 to 10 April 2017, during which the students were checked on the implementation of the "Rules for the Use of School Textbooks". At the time of testing, each student must have all the necessary textbooks for the day of check, and the textbooks themselves should be in good condition: be wrapped and repaired (if they so require). The test was conducted in all classes from 1 to 11.

Most textbooks in good faith to fulfill the Terms of Use are elementary school students. Textbooks have a removable cover that allows you to keep it, but some students use textbooks as workbooks (in them children paint, make inscriptions with a pencil, sometimes a pen).

As the age of students increases, the number of children not following the rules for using textbooks increases. Most students do not have the textbooks wrapped, the integrity of the covers is broken, the main thoughts in the textbooks stand out in pencil (sometimes pen). They are students of the 5 th, 6 th grades. The state of textbooks that entered the school in 2016 and issued to students is of concern. (1 "in", 8th grades)
During the raid it was revealed that many high school students do not have textbooks with removable covers, and if there are some dirty, torn. Students argue that the cover was torn only today. Unfortunately, this argument does not lead to the preservation of textbooks. With students who have textbooks without covers or require minor repairs (gluing, replacing the cover, erasing the markings), a conversation was held "On careful attitude to the school textbook".
Dear pupils and parents! Educational literature is one of the components of the conditions for successful study. The city budget spends a lot of money to provide students with textbooks that should be used for at least five years. Everyone wants to have a clean and tidy book in hand, but for this you need to keep it. Look at the state of your textbooks! Textbooks should be wrapped, clean and have a bookmark.
We remind you:
• Students must take care of published textbooks
• Do not write or draw in the textbook.
• Do not tear out the sheets from the textbook.
• Textbooks should have a removable hard cover (synthetic or paper).
Save the textbook - it's not difficult! Bookmarks, covers will prolong the life of the textbook.
