The purpose of social and pedagogical work:

 
In the organization of work, the social educator contributes to the formation of a positive microclimate in the team, the humanization of interpersonal communication, contributes to the ability of each respondent, protects his personality, organizes leisure, participates in socially useful activities, studies specific questions of pupils and teachers, and examines. The social educator is in constant contact with student families. Particular attention is paid to such problems of children as abuse of parents, the problem of cruelty to children, child abuse, the basics of psycho-diagnostics, psycho-correction and analysis of children and their families;
Financial assistance to families in need of social assistance (financial, patronage, social assistance and benefits for family types), the organization of social services (working with people, selecting employees, identifying and disseminating best practices), actions constitute the nomenclature.

For social educators, data collection methods can have some difficulties in the study of social phenomena. One of the difficulties is connected with the difficulties in the process of transformation of society and social phenomena. The second problem is the difficulty of monitoring a wider range of social phenomena, sometimes even the whole of mankind. The third problem is related to the complexity of social phenomena, and therefore it is necessary to study many factors that affect the phenomenon.
In this context, the social and psychological, legal, ethical and social impact of social pedagogues on children and adolescents, studying their age and psychological characteristics, their abilities, helping to solve problems of nature, being the coordinator-mediator in the system of social and family life, childhood, education of the student , children and adult humanitarian, spiritual and moral relations in the following areas:
