National dishes of the Kazakh people

Kazakhs are a very hospitable people. It has long been customary that when a guest came to the house, he was seated in a place of honor, and the best dishes that the owners had were put on the table. Until now, it is customary to arrange large feasts with national dishes here. What is the custom to treat in Kazakhstan, what delicacies are the country's calling card? Peculiarities of the national cuisine Kazakh traditional dishes are mostly based on meat and dairy products. Other ingredients, namely seafood, vegetables, fruits, fish, sweets and pastries, were added later and are more related to the modern cuisine of this country. But mainly meat dishes prevail in the Kazakh national cuisine. Four types of meat are used for their preparation - lamb, camel meat, horse meat and beef. Pork is not cooked here at all, as Islam does not allow it.
                               Dish "Zhauzhurek" 

Zhauzhurek is a traditional Kazakh dish made from sheep offal, usually right after it is slaughtered. The dish is very simple, but it cooks very quickly, and of course it turns out very tasty! Also zhauzhurek can be cooked on the grill.

   Lamb (or beef) liver - 500 g

• Fat mesh (lamb) - 500 g

• Milk - 300 ml

• Salt - 1 tsp.

• Black pepper - 1 tsp.

• Cilantro - 1 bundle. 

                                                 

For children, the Kazakhs prepared Zhauzhurek, with the aim that they grow up bold and brave. It is mainly prepared from lamb liver and abdominal fat, which are rich in proteins, vitamins A and C, most importantly, the lamb liver contains heparin, which helps to prevent myocardial infarction. "The batyr finds food on the way," says popular wisdom. And this dish was originally prepared by the warriors protecting the peace and tranquility of the people. Now it can be presented to guests as a hot snack.
