Concept republican information campaign "Secure Internet"

Organizers of the information campaign:

Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Children of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Department of Education, Internal Policy, Departments of Internal Affairs of oblasts, Astana and Almaty, non-governmental organizations (by agreement), mass media.

The main goal of the Information campaign is to ensure that information about minors, educators and parents is raised to raise awareness of the problem of aggressive Internet content, increase the culture of using Internet resources, and the responsibility of adult users of Internet services to monitor Internet activity of minors.

The information campaign includes a number of activities:

I. Preparatory stage:

1. Placement of information about the preparation and conduct of the Information campaign on the Internet resources of education authorities and organizations, the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the KRPR of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the media.

2. Media coverage of the implementation of the Information campaign.

Opening of the Information campaign on April 23, 2018: holding school-wide rulles, class hours, round tables, classes and other events in educational organizations on topics: "What is the Internet?", "Traveling to the country" Safe Internet "," Useful and safe Internet "," Children need safe Internet from their childhood "," Internet and we "," Security measures on the Internet "," Measures to secure the Internet ", etc.

4. Providing information support to the Information campaign - holding competitions of posters, booklets, creative works of students, essays on the topics "Secure Internet", "Etiquette of network communication", "Internet - in my life", wide coverage of campaign activities in the media.

5. Organization and holding of meetings of students with experienced programmers, psychologists, public figures in educational organizations. Conducting conversations, debates and a number of activities on the topics: "Prevention of Internet dependence of schoolchildren", "Internet: pro and contra."

6. Organization and holding of parent meetings on the use of Internet resources at home.

7.Organization of legal education for parents, holding parental meetings, counseling, psycho-corrective work with children and parents, conducting training seminars for parents.

III. Expected results

As a result of these measures, Internet literacy of children, parents and educators is expected to increase, awareness of the participants in the educational process about the principles and settings of Internet security, the formation of a sense of responsibility and respect for the interlocutors in the Internet.
