According to the plan of the Educational and Methodological Center for the Development of Education of the Karaganda Region, within the framework of the regional project "Zeyin" for the development of functional literacy, on January 26, 2021, KSU "School No. 10" held events of the Week of Mathematical Literacy "Mathematics Around Us", in which students 1- 11 classes and school teachers.

     In the elementary grades, events were held on the topic "Mathematical Guinness Show", which reflected various forms and methods of educational activities, this is the performance of ditties, poems about mathematics, the author's advertising of the subject of mathematics. Collective and individual forms of work were successfully combined. There was no limit to imagination and ingenuity. All the teachers during the event showed good organizational skills, created a festive creative atmosphere.

The event “Me and my family in numbers” was held in an interesting way. Students of grades 5-7 conducted a search activity about memorable dates, anniversaries in their families. Interesting facts related to numbers attracted the attention of not only middle school students, but also elementary and high school students.

   One of the ways to increase interest in studying the school mathematics course is a well-organized work of the class teacher. So among the pupils of 8-10 grades there was an event called "Musical and mathematical living room", where the children got acquainted with other mathematics: more interesting and lively.

    All events were entertaining and informative. Interesting, diverse and non-traditional forms of events, aroused great interest of the students, increasing the motivation to study the subject.
