On October 17, 2020, as part of the environmental campaign of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a tree planting campaign organized by the Lyceum's volunteer group was held at the Abai Lyceum No. 2. During the campaign, 11 seedlings of elm trees were planted. Lyceum teachers, students and parents of students in grades 1 and 2 took part in the tree planting campaign.
