About catering for the 2021-2022 academic year

In order to ensure high-quality nutrition and the safety of children's health in KSU "secondary School No. 5" of the Department of Education of the city of Balkhash of the Department of Education of the Karaganda region, explanatory work is constantly carried out on catering during restrictive measures, including quarantine, a cashless payment terminal is installed, payment by card and QR is accepted. Meetings of the Board of Trustees and school-wide parent meetings were held on the issue of catering.
Priority directions of the organization of the food system:
- providing students with hot meals;
- ensuring sanitary and hygienic food safety;
- quality control, caloric content and balanced nutrition;
- provision of drinking regime.
This academic year, students of grades 1-4 will be provided with hot meals. Currently, work is underway to accept documents for certain categories of children. Meals for students are organized in accordance with the established schedule.
Catering is carried out on the basis of a menu developed by the Department of Education.
Meals are provided in accordance with the school's work schedule and the meal schedule approved by the school principal. In order to control, organize the nutrition of students, the quality of products supplied, compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements at the school's catering department, a 5-person marriage commission was approved. The work of the commission is regulated by the "Regulations on the marriage Commission" and the "rules of work at the catering department" approved by the school director. Meetings of the nutrition Commission are held monthly.
The members of the commission monitor the sanitary and hygienic condition of the dining room, carry out educational work to promote a healthy lifestyle and the basics of healthy nutrition, monitor the duty in the dining room, carry out the brakerage of finished products, the quality of cooked dishes.
There are 2 video cameras installed in the school cafeteria: 1-in the dining room, 2-in the food hall.
Also, the issue of catering was considered at meetings with the director and pedagogical councils.
Responsible person for school meals: classroom teachers keep daily records of students receiving free meals by class, a social teacher fills out a nutrition report card.
The implementation of a sanitary and educational plan in the field of healthy nutrition will help prevent the irrationality of dietary habits of schoolchildren, which will lead to the development of a number of diseases.
