At school №10 on March 4, within the framework of the reading literacy week for primary school parents, the school psychologist Kryukova A.D. an online meeting was organized and held in Zoom with a broadcast on YouTube "How to instill in a child a love of reading. " The school's psychologist talked about how to instill in a child and adolescent a love of reading so that it remains with them throughout their lives. The love of reading is the most precious gift in a child's life, which can make him very rich. Parents have the opportunity to leave comments under the video on YouTube, or contact a psychologist at the specified contacts.

School librarian Yakushenko T.V. I conducted a library lesson on the topic “I am a reader” with 5th grade students. Participants of the event talked about their favorite books and what books make up their home library. Children with great interest got acquainted with all the halls of the library, children's books and magazines, non-traditional media (audio books, CD-disks ...). They learned how to become a reader of a school library, choose an interesting book, how to behave in a library, and shared their knowledge about the correct handling of books.

Each book was written for a reason. A good book leads us to certain thoughts and feelings. While reading, we, willingly or unwillingly, try on the events, emotions and experiences of the heroes of the book. This not only keeps us in suspense, but also helps to see from the outside how we would react and how we would feel in the situations described, although they did not happen to us in real life. Among the 8-11 grades, a survey was conducted "On the benefits of reading." Statistics showed that 42% of children love to read, 36% give preference to science fiction, 12% have a home library, 10% read parents, go to the library, buy books, only 8% could name their favorite book (they prefer the genre of science fiction) Yes students who keep a reading diary. Students of the 9th grade shared their reflections “On the benefits of reading”: Bratchik Angelica, Kenzhebekova Kamila, Kolyasnikova Ekaterina, Malysheva Karina.

Each book certainly influences a person's worldview. Unfortunately, in recent years, reading has been of a practical nature, without forcing the reader to stop and reflect on the word that was used, return to a previously read work, look at it from a new angle, and again enjoy the riddles that were left by the author. However, everyone has that cherished book to which he would like to return again and again.

Schoolchildren of grades 10-11 took part in the essay competition "The Book That Changed My Life". They shared their thoughts on the role the book played in life, how it influenced their destiny, their choice of profession.
