The 5th June is the universal day of conservation of the environment

On the eve of the universal day of preservation of the environment the Ecocentre of the department of education together with Nura-Sarysu Department of ecology conducted the traditional 4^th town ecofest “Shagala-2012”.

The director of CLR “Kazakhmys smelting” M.I.Aubakirov rendered sponsor help.

15 ecoclubs of the town schools had handed applications for taking part in the fest. Scientists of KazNIIRH were invited – the scientist secretary Kenzhebekov B.K., Vorobeva N.B. n Pustolaikina N.T., representatives of NPO of the Children’s Maslikhat.

The intellectual game “Znatok ecologii” was conducted among ecoclubs of the town schools this year.

By the results of the competition:

1^st place – schools №18 and №10;

2^nd place – town gymnasium and school №4;

3^rd place – schools №15 and №1.

And other ecoclubs of the town presented their creative works at the exhibition.
