Literature room invites… «Candle was burning…»
On the 1 of April Balkhash Gymnasium held the literature reception named “The candle was burning” on the short story by contemporary American author Michael Halperin. The audience were representatives of the town department of education, physical culture and sports, teachers philologists of town schools, journalists, high school students, parents - all those who care about literature.
A distinctive feature of the salon was the arrangement of free reading of the books that expand understanding of the teaching profession, purpose of the modern school, the ways of conservation of the "humanistic in the human being". Interesting thoughts on the role of books and teachers in the modern world were expressed by the guests. During all the speeches there was a thought that the book is the light, knowledge, life, and desire for beauty.
The atmosphere of a literary evening in the gymnasium could be called "educational meeting" with the art of speech. Literary salon completed its work, but everyone has the opportunity to continue reading at home ...
